"This cd set is one of the most stylistically diverse I have EVER seen. CD 1 is fantastic Euro dance music that'll make you wanna shake your arse. CD 2 will take you on a trance-hypnotic journey to rival Oaky and PVD. The flow is a perfect mesh of peaks and valleys that will have you doing the raver kick step for hours. CD 3 is a bonus cd by Graeme Park (hadn't heard of him) and he has a unique style of mixing Euro dance that is unlike anyone else I've heard."

"Pete Tong is probably the best House DJs out there. "Essential Selection Spring 1999" is exactly that--a collection of songs that were essential in Spring of 1999. Long a force in UK dance music, this BBC Radio 1 personality has been putting out "Essential Selections" since 1997, and they've sold almost a combined $1 million. "E.S. 1999" captures the soul-house revival of 1999 perfectly through songs like "Flowerz," "Can't Get Enough," and (well, of course!) "Big Love." Opening with the erotic "History of Disco" (seriously, the most sonically sensual house tune since "French Kiss"), disc one is a real stormer. Disc two is more progressive, trancey, and features 1998-1999 classics like "3 Drives." If you like house...get this CD. Pete Tong has an ear for good tunes."
