"I had never heard of Los Poetas. So sad that there is very little information on the cd cover to tell us a little about the artists that played these pieces. If you like Bibriesca,if you enjoy traditional Mexican pieces, if your acoustic oriented, and if you can connect to so many of these Mexican classics, you will enjoy every single track in this album. I have heard Mexican music all my life,and I can honestly say this album is one of the best. There is not one bad piece on either cd! I have recommended it to so many of my friends. One can only hope that there will be a follow up to this marvelous piece of work!"

Young and old alike will love these true guitar sounds!

"The classics are presented as they were first sung by the masters (Agustin Lara, Jose Alfredo Jimenez, Pedro Infante, Javier Solis, etc.;) no fanfare or intrusive interpretations. My 83 year-old dad is a lifelong guitarist and is very ill; this music is heard playing next to his bed every day."

"The presentation of Mexican guitars is fantastic. It is great back ground music for relaxing or escaping into the beautiful world that this kind of music creates in the listener's mind whether at home or in the car. It doesn't hurt when this music is played in the high Sonoran desert of Tucson, Arizona. In fact it adds to this great Southwest environment. I first heard the music in a very upscale Mexican furniture store, Hacienda D' Mexico III, in Tucson, AZ. The owners were kind enough to share with me the artists. My only problem now is that it appears that this is the only CD available from this group. Does anyone else play Mexican guitars like this group?"
