This compilation was put together to benefit local Minneapolis non-profit, Pop For Charity. It features many exclusive tracks by artists like Alan Sparkhawk of Low, Breakfast (Slug of Atmosphere), The Brokerdealer (Craig Finn of The Hold Steady and Mr.Projectile), Dillinger Four covering Motorhead, as well as some unreleased tracks from the doubleplusgood roster (Spiveys, H.Chinaski, hollow). Other tracks were exclusive to the compilation at the time, but appear on other releases by the artists (Non-Prophets is Sage Francis and Joe Beats, "Forget Me" by Slug & Eyedea appears on "The Many Faces of Oliver Hart", and Brody's "Ghoul Expert" later appeared on album by Fog. Proceeds of this album go to charity.
