"I bought this CD, along with the blue album (Rasa Mello), out of curiosity, and I LOVE IT!!!...I heard it playing in a restaurant in SoHo, New York, and had to get it. I especially love "Flying Carpet" by Claude Challe & Carlos Campos, the first I know from the Buddha Bar series. "Latino Love" by D-Genre is also very cool. I usually stay away from "World Music" for the obvious reasons, but this one definitely sets itself apart, in that it's the music and the beats I listen to, as well being really well-mixed. I play it when I have friends over, sets the mood for an exotic evening. It's one of those staple CD's that everyone should have in their collection."
My favourite dance CD hands down

"I have a lot of world music, and dance music, and this blends the two perfectly. This really is a fantastic CD. I was going to cut some of the songs into a dance mix I use for dance practice but I ended up not doing that since every single song is awesome, so I just keep it as a its own mix. I suppose if you were looking for 'new age' music this wouldn't be it. But it certainly gets you moving, which is good spiritually I'm sure :)"
A fabulous collection of world beat dance music

"Donna D'Cruz has done it again. Rasa:Exotica is a fabulous collection of world beat dance music, including rare and hard to find tracks, some never before available. The cover contains a humorous label warning of "Spiritually Explicit Grooves, Guaranteed to Make Your Heart Beat Faster." It's a great example of truth in advertising, as Rasa:Exotica will definitely rock your world. Mixed so that the tracks flow seamlessly together as though you were on the dance floor at some exotic club, the 66 minutes of music will leave you either exhausted or exhilarated, depending on what kind of shape you're in.
Rasa:Exotica features international DJs and musicians from all over the planet, including Claude Challe (Buddha Bar/Nirvana Lounge, Paris), Africanism, De Phazz, Stereo MCs, River Ocean, Nomad and many others. As you might imagine with a dance album, the percussion throughout Rasa:Exotica is absolutely outrageous. Piano, keyboards, synthesizers, guitars, bass, vocals and much more make for one of the more esoteric, delicious compilations of the year. Kudos to D'Cruz for creating another awesome masterpiece."

"I purchased this because I love the Stereo Mc's and it came up on ebay when I did a search for them. Well it arrived this morning and it's completely blown my mind. It's uplifting, energising, and it's made my day! I've a collection of thousands of CD's all types of music from Led Zeppelin, to Disco, to Jazz and funk - all sorts and am always looking for something new. This has certainly pressed all my buttons - It's absolutely fantastic excellent feelgood factor. If you like to dance and be happy this is the one for you. Try it and see you won't be disappointed."
