Island paradise

"Early on there were only a couple of Ibiza compilations every summer. Then word got out. Every DJ who ever beached these shores has his own mismatch of scoring those play in the endless summer. So, how would you begin to shift through the rubble and find the real gems? Easy. Skip down the alphabet and look for titles starting with the letter R as in REAL. On round two of the REAL IBIZA series, A Man Called Adam (funny name), Chris Coco, and Bruno Leprete team up for the knock out punch. Accumulatively, these guys have more time logged on the island than some salty dog at sea. They've seen it in every season, under every condition. They know its heart and soul and bring those gifts to this wonder selection of downtempo grooves. These guys were up early and caught the big ones - Rollercone - "Daydreaming", Larry Heard - "Precious Tears", Da Latta - "Pra Mahna, UGS presents African Blues - "Sunpower", Attaboy - New World", A Man Called Adam - "The Longest Day", Ibizarre - "Smooth Temptation", Guesch Patti - "Blonde" and that's just side one. Side two continues the sound of their life as a party - Tupi Nago - "Nena", Idjut Boys with Laj - "Whok - Tish", Alania - "Jah Jah Is Coming", Matthew Snowden - "The Real Thing", Two Lone Swordsmen - "Rico's Helly", Coco Steel and Lovebomb - "Clear Skies". Its all here; very tight, cohesive, relaxed, and we're grooving tonight, baby. Balmy breezes blowing, an azure sunset, salt water and sand between your toes, swaying to the lapping waves, sipping on a coconut rum punch. Does it get any better than this? Perhaps, but doubtful. Jump in."

"I cannnot say enough good things about this album. If you like any of the CD's in the Cafe Del Mar series you will love this album. From the Safari inspired 1st song to the sexually charged second song, this album is incredible. Every song is so good that you will feel like you really are on the beach in Ibiza chillin with a drink."
Amazingly cruisy

"Real Ibiza 2 ranks up there with the best relazing, cruisy, funky, acidic music that there is. Perfect for the morning after or lazing by the pool or just lounging around. Highly recomended, in particular track 8 on Disc 2 is simply the standout track on a truly brilliant CD that will relax even the most tense of us."
