Close Your Eyes. Let The Music Take You Away...and it will

"This album definitely caters to listeners of down-tempo, electronic music. It is really a great CD. It's great for entertaining or when you and your closest friends are simply lounging around. Some of my colleagues, to whom I have introduced this music, even find that it's great for studying or reading. I certainly agree. Not only will this CD bring you to a place of complete relaxation after a hard day at work or school, it's smooth, consitent beat will take you away to another place.
I think, though, that this CD falls into the category of Fusion, rather than pure electronic jazz. It's very similar to what one would hear on a typical "love" or "romance" music station in any large, urban market, but without a lot of the saxophonic solos, the sultry disckjockeys and annoying commerical advertisements interrupting the sequence or flow."

"I freeked when I got Afterlife 'Spec of Gold', then I was buying Playstic Budda's 'Throwing Stones in a Placid Pool'(who I found on Ambient Lounge 3) when Rendezvous popped up around the shopping cart page.. so I took a gamble and now can't get enough of this cd. it delivers song after song.. this Mark guy knows how to pick them. I'll look into his other stuff."

"More like fusion crossed with realy good smooth jazz. I personaly don't normally go for "electronic" forms of music, but I must say this cd has remained in my car stereo since the day I bought it. It helps get me through the traffic jams of rush hour minus the road rage I'm prone to experience. This is NOT Kenny G and it's NOT some wierd blend of sound effects set to a repetitious beat. This IS good soothing rhythmic music."
