"This is my favorite 80's collection that I own. There is not a bad song on the disc. If you went to high school in the early 80s you'll remember every one of these in all their new wave glory. I was especially glad for the inclusion of Romeo Void's "Never Say Never", an overlooked 80s classic."
Some of the best selections from the early 80s

"My husband and I attended both high school and college in the 1980s, and as a result, we are fans of music from that decade for life--in fact, our recent wedding was all 80s music! We have at least ten 80s compilation CDs; this one was our first purchases, and it's still one of the best. It contains some of the greatest early 80s music you'll find anywhere, including the song that launched MTV, "Video Killed the Radio Star." Additional classic tunes from the earlier part of the decade include "Cars" by Gary Numan, Thomas Dolby's "She Blinded Me with Science," and a favorite of almost everyone, Soft Cell's "Tainted Love." A great addition to your 80s music collection."
Possibly the Best in the Series

"Trying to pick the best of these discs is difficult, but this one may be it. The songs are all new wave classics, and it's a great listen from start to finish. I especially have always loved "Cars", "The Look of Love" and "Never Say Never". Minor quibbles - the 7" remix of "Tainted Love" would have been better, and I would have preferred a more upbeat number than "Hold Me Now". If you're looking for good 80's music, you can start here."
