"Chicago is a city that gave the opportunity to the blues to be recognized at all of the rest of the world as a kind of music that changed one entire generation, and produced some blues masters unforgetable by the bluesfans. The most important of them were between others,Muddy Waters,Willie Dixon and Howlin'Wolf. This box set contains a tribute of the most important Chicago Bluesmen still in activity, that plays with the same competency as that old bluesmen they honored in this work. All of the three cds are refined, with rare moments of very good tuned musics, and i liked specially the interpretations at Willie Dixon's cd,specially the music"Bring it on Home"by Kenny Neal(fantastic set),and crazy for my babe with great duet of Christine Ohlman and Sonny Landreth. The other two cds are fantastic too,and The Muddy Waters Tribute Band, plays really a downhome blues with many harmonica tunes all over the entire album. I really don't understand why this work was not yet reviewed until this moment and i really recomend it to the bluesfans as a serious introduction to the best of blues roots like only few others have tried with this sort of competency and quality. Telarc's masters!!"
