"
1. To the first reviewer: You may have been thinking of "Somebody to Love" by Jefferson Airplane (it's on SURREALISTIC PILLOW and probably hundreds of CD compilations) - "Summer of Love," whatever it is, exists in this form alone, and would not have had any chance of being the song you hoped for. (For an earlier version of "Somebody to Love," you can try The Great Society with Grace Slick - her band before the Airplane.)

2. The person who produced these recordings is releasing them without permission of the artists, although he is legally allowed to do so. This same person spent a great deal of energy making Moby Grape's lives miserable (at one point he refused to let them use their name). No doubt he may have done the same for other bands included here (and in volume 2). If having the music outweighs the legitimacy of these recordings, at least consider making it impossible for this person to profit further from these quasi-bootlegs."
