"This is one of the better tribute albums I've heard. While some of the artists chosen--twee popsters, mostly--are familiar (like Jon Brion, Cub, Dominique Durand of Ivy), others are not so familiar; however, each approaches these timeless pop songs with a palpable delight. The record does not have weak tracks like most of these tribute projects, but coheres nicely and is fun to listen to all the way through. And, like the best tributes, it makes you want to seek out and hear the originals. This record, like the Hollies themselves, should be heard by more people: it's both a fine introduction to a lot of unjustly obscure IndiePop artists and to the transcendent pop of the Hollies."
