This a great CD overall and fun to listen to. Brings back memories for me and my older kids.

Best soundtrack I've ever heard
retrowens | Alabama, USA | 12/02/1999

"To put it plain and simple, this is a great cd. All the songs are good. I don't like rap music that much but I liked the ones from this album. Most soundtracks just have 1 or 2 great songs, but this one has a lot of them. Without a doubt, this is the best soundtrack that I've ever listened to. For most soundtracks, i'd recommend you to just get the single of the song you like, but you need to get this whole album. I liked Fly Like An Eagle, the Monstars' Anthem, and I Believe I Can Fly the best."
Perfectly compliments the movie

"When I first heard that there was a new movie called Space Jam starring Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny, I was like, "Huh?" I wasn't really interested in seeing it (it turns out the movie IS pretty good), but I heard from my friends that the soundtrack is pretty decent. I listened to it, and they were right. The soundtrack seems to be PG-rated (if THAT), and it's a good thing because the movie is like that too. But another thing is that it seems to be targeted toward the high school audience (I was 15 when this came out), so if you're over 18, don't expect to be bumping this in your car or anything. This isn't to say the soundtrack is bad. There are great songs like R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly", Monica's "For You I Will", and D'Angelo's "I Found My Smile Again". All-4-One also shows up to sing "I Turn To You", which most people probably didn't know was recorded before Christina Aguilera's 2000 #3 hit. I like Christina's rendition better, but this version is still good.Since Space Jam is about basketball, it wouldn't be right not to have some energetic tracks on here. B-Real, Busta Rhymes, Coolio, LL Cool J and Method Man bring us The Monstars' Anthem (the Monstars were the opposing team in the movie), otherwise known as "Hit `Em High". And the title track, performed by Quad City DJs, is decent, but all their songs sound the same to me.The last song is the humorous "Buggin'" as performed by Bugs Bunny (and was written by Jay-Z, I must add). Bugs and the other characters are voiced by Billy West (best known as the voice of the Honey Nut Cheerios bee), but at the end of the song it sounds like he's getting lazy with the voice (of Bugs, anyway). And I'm not exactly sure why Robin S. (of "Show Me Love" fame) is on here, but her "Givin' U All That I've Got" sounds like her other songs too. But regardless, this soundtrack was a perfect match for the movie. I don't really listen to it that much now, but it's still great."
One of the best

"As soon as i watched space jam the film, i loved it and the songs that went with it.So i downloaded and copied onto a cd a few of the songs that appeared on the soundtrack album.I was disapointed as most of the songs i liked i couldnt get and i particularly liked 'Givin you all that i got' another song i was unable to download. But i was able to get my favourite song and that was 'Fly like an eagle' the main song of the film. I recommend this album to anyone who enjoyed the film and it really has some quality tunes on here. Most RnB and rap orientated songs but overall a soundtrack at its best."
Best R'n'B/rap soundtrack ever

"Most movie soundtracks featuring rap and R'n'B songs usually contain one or two well-known hits and then some mediocre songs are added as filler. Not this album! After 5 years, still it is a great album with never-aging songs.Seal's "Fly Like an Eagle", Coolio's "the Winner", Salt-N-Pepa's "Upside Down" and the hilarious'y funny "Basketball Jones" from Chris Rock are the best one on this. But let's not forget the two best songs of the album: the amazing "Hit 'em High" and D'Angelo's haunting, cool and yet warm "I Found My Smile Again" are true masterpieces. These two songs alone are worth getting this album for. Get it!"
