CD ReviewsThrash Kills ! Sam Crawford | Olympia, WA USA | 12/10/2007 (5 out of 5 stars) "According to this CD, thrash is coming back into fashion. I thought that happened when Schmier rejoined DESTRUCTION! Thrash has always been out there, but it's been difficult to find for many a year.
This CD, though, does help to remedy that problem. The bands on here remind me of the original 'Speed Kills' LP that i bought back in '85 (i still have that record along with Volumes 2 & 3). Nothing's better than fast guitars, denim, leather, and nuclear holocaust. I recommend this CD as a good starting point if you're unfamiliar with the genre. If you've been following thrash for decades like me, then you already have this with your piles of DESTRUCTION and SODOM discs." |
