Album DescriptionProduced by songwriter Del Suggs, this compilation showcases the variety of musical styles within the "Americana" genre, from roots-based acoustic, folk, and bluegrass to jazz-flavored pop and rock. Opening with Danica Winter?s anthem "Paradise," David Murphy?s ponderings on "Thoughts of Heaven" flows smoothly into Mimi & The HearnDog?s poignant longing on "I Know." Then, Bill McGuire?s "All the Time In The World" kicks in a hint of roots rock, leading to popster C.E. Reid?s "The Pull" shifting into overdrive. Bill Richeson then unleashes a bluegrass-flavored rocker in "Forget it," followed by Quanta?s boogie woogie shuffle in "Walking From Richmond." Schef Wright?s tribute to a lighthouse"St. Mark?s Light" segues easily into Deborah Lawson & Stanton Rosenthal?s "Bad Dog," about the pet we all know and love. Ben Edmund steals your heart with "Morning," slipping into Merelyn Falciglia?s "Looking For Lonely," then Glenn & Laurie Ring recall a summer night in "Waitin? On You." Producer Del Suggs presents his tale of vacation memories in "Caribbean Money," then to wrap it up, Steve Meisburg croons "I?ll Wait For You." The compilation was mastered by sound-guru Pete Winter at his world-class Winterstone Productions, and the cover art was designed and created by Laura Pichard-Murphy. All of the recordings were engineered at Winterstone Productions by Pete Winter and David Murphy, with the sole exception of "Waitin? On You," which was captured at Millenium Studio in Daytona Beach. This is the fifth compilation of Tallahassee artists produced by Suggs on his Cascades Recording Company label.
