"I have the first two albums in the Tantra Lounge series, and found that they seem to lack something. I could never define what, but I wound up not really listening to them.
This one is completely different. Whatever they were missing, they found it. From the moment I heard the sample of "The Baghdad Groove" I knew I had to buy it. I went on to discover more gems like "Beauty and the East", "Ohm", and "Mystic Caravan". Of course it also never hurts to include some of my favorite artists (Thievery Corporation and Natacha Atlas).
Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised with this album. The only songs I'm not immediately in love with are "Raga" and "Flight 828", but that's just personal taste. I hope they continue choosing songs of this quality for future compilations!"

"Imagine if the East and the West got together and had a love child, and that the love child embodied all that is great from both cultures. Now imagine that love child compiled an album. This would be that album. Enjoy."
