Casts a Christmas Spell

"I bought this CD because I adore the Burl Ives classic, "Holly Jolly Christmas." But the other sweet, festive songs on the album are just as heartwarming. "Jingle Bell Rock" will get your party guests dancing, while Judy Garland's sentimental "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" might bring tears to your eyes. "Here Comes Santa Claus" is a bouncy, upbeat song that will delight the children in your family. There are also several lovely hymns including one ("Ave Maria")performed by the legendary Placido Domingo and another one ("It Came Upon a Midnight Clear") sung by a haunting church chorus. At less than 40 minutes, this album is not very long, but its music will warm you better than the biggest glass of eggnog! I listen to this album even when it's not the holiday season. It brings me back to my innocent childhood and puts a misty-eyed smile on my face. Get it if you can find it!"
