Tokyo Calling is the latest compilation from ground breaking New York-based dance imprint King Street Sounds / Nite Grooves. The cross-section of material gathered on this first installment of the series contains 10 glorious aural delights that were either composed, produced, performed or remixed by pioneering underground and mainstream Japanese dance artists like Mondo Grosso, Towa Tei, Malawi Rocks, Yukihiro Fukutomi, AK, Orienta Rhythm, Satoshi Tomiie, A Hundred Birds, Gomi and Coldfeet.
