Another great Trojan box

"A nice, affordable introduction to Lee "Scratch" Perry on Trojan Records. Disc One offers reggae vocals and instrumentals from 1968-1972, Disc Two covers the Black Ark period from 1973-1978, and Disc Three wraps things up with some mega-mixes and post-Ark recordings (1978-2001). The first two discs are great, but the last leaves me a little disappointed (the later stuff is a little too synthetic-sounding). I can't argue with the price though, and it makes a nice companion to the 'Arkology' box set which delivers several more Lee Perry produced classics and their dubs ("War ina Babylon", "Police and Thieves")."
