CD Reviews

A Good Mix
Bethany McKinney | Los Angeles, CA | 05/12/2000
(4 out of 5 stars)

"Overall, this CD isn't THAT great. But because there are a few songs on it that are just AWESOME, I had to give it 4 stars. The Cowboy Junkies song "Angel Mine" is so beautiful there isn't a word for it. Susanne Vega's song "Caramel" is also really good. And there's something about the song "You Do Something to Me" by Paul Weller that makes you feel like you're deeply in love, even if you're not. And the rest of the songs aren't BAD, but they're not really worth mentioning. But I think the CD is worth getting just for the Cowboy Junkies song."
One of the best soundtracks!

"I loved the movie, mostly because of the music. This is one of my favorite CDs in my collection. It will make you smile when you remember where the song was playing in the movie. Ranging form the Cowboy Junkies to Ben Folds Five, this is a must-have for anyone's CD collection."
This does not collect dust

"this is one of the cds in my collection that is always being played. i wholeheartedly agree with the other reviewers who loved suzanne vega's little song. i wish it were longer, too. as well as the cowboy junkies and ben folds five and sting and al green and and and..... you get the picture."
