"Ultra Dance 11, while an improvement from the one disc UD10...still has many flaws. This CD is extremely commercial...which would be fine if it wasn't so commercial to the point that there are original pop tracks included. Circus and My Life Would Suck Without You in their original forms?! What was Ultra thinking? If your gonna include these tracks at least include them in remixed form...not the originals...they slow down and destroy the flow of the album..."Down" and "Fireburning" are alright because the original version of the Sean Kingston track is worlds above any of it's terrible remixes...and Down serves as a good intro...however why not have that one remixed as well? There are many remixes for it.
Much of what is on Disc 1 was included on "Now That's What I Call Club Hits", so much so that you would think Ultra is trying to copy them.
Disc 2 is a major improvement. However, tracks 2, 4, 5, 7, 10, 11, and 12 have all been featured on previous Ultra titles! Ultra has to understand that in order to keep it's loyal customers happy they have to have some variation on their releases. The Kim Sozzi track has been featured on Just Dance 2, Ultra 2010, Club Anthems 2, and now this. The Honorebel track suffers from the same syndrome. Ultra please do not keep repeating your track lists.
Which brings me to my next point...."Love Is Gone"?!?!?! That track is like 3 years old! Why oh why?! Why not include something off Guetta's new album? It just seems random and weird that it would be included....
All in all, this album will satisfy the casual listener, but for those looking for more underground anthems I recommend Club Anthems 2. I get all the Ultra compilations, but I feel like I need to express what is wrong with the latest releases. The best comps they have put out recently are Ultra Chilled 06 and Ultra Electro 3, check those out."
Dance shouldnt sell-out!

"I used to respect Ultra's compilations but lately they have been very disappointing to me. The only reason I even bought the lasts ones is because I was showing my respect for them and commitment. Secretly though I felt dumb buying the CD's because I really was not excited for the tracks. I was hoping they were going through an uncreative period, which everyone has a right to go trough in their lifetime, and then get back into it like before. Buying the CD's I hoped that they would see I am committed to them on whatever they do. I always went with Ultra because with them I don't remember the radio exists. Now with this CD, might as well just listen to the radio and hear the same songs for free.
If you have never before bought anything from Ultra Dance then I suggest you buy the old compilations because even though the songs might be "old" at least you still get DANCE music in them, and they are good enough mixes that they are still fun to listen to.
**I honestly think the last Ultra Dance you should buy for your music collection should be ULTRA DANCE 08. I personally love CD2.**
aBOUT mE: I've been listening to electronic music for ten years now and have been fed with European compilations because there just have not been good enough American compilations. Ultra gave me hope that things will change soon on that but if they are going to become sell-outs then there is really no point to keep supporting them.
I gave them TWO stars just because at least they kept some of the few good names we can all count on like Tiesto, Cascada, Fedde Le Grand....

"I liked the old Ultra Dances that had good dance music that wasn't necessarily main stream. If you're going to include crappy top 40 pop songs, at least remix them; I'm already sick of them in their original form. Ultra Dance is becoming more and more like the NOW CDs. I wish there was a way to return digital music purchases. Booooooooooo."
Umm... Better!

"Ultra Dance HAS returned from that dismal UD10, in that it's better. However, let's be honest: they're FAR from the time when I looked forward to every release, when every release was better than candy to a kid. What's more interesting, they've put ALBUM versions of certain songs.... tsk tsk tsk. For me, Ultra is starting to go WAY past it's prime with the inclusion of short hip-hop/rap songs on their "dance" comps; only Ultra Trance and Weekend remain untouched by this ghastly affair. There is a fair bit of those songs here, though significantly less than Ultra 2010, which makes it an improvement. They also finally return to length, with one 7 minute, and a few 6 minutes, offset by at least 2 songs less than 3(!) minutes, and numerous 3-4 minute songs. That's okay; most of those short songs need to be short. Once again, however, there are a number of repeats from other, more recent installments, and one repeat that hasn't been seen in over 2 years (Love is Gone). Now, the music itself has significantly improved; these are pretty good. Overall, it really is an okay album; it's just that I no longer expect good things from Ultra Records, and while this album is pretty good, it's neither surprising nor awe-inspiring; it doesn't change my opinion.
I bought this at Target for $7.99 (on sale). I was like, "what the hell? 2 discs for $8." Maybe that's why I'm so lenient...
It won't satisfy the masses that they gained from earlier UD installments, but they shouldn't lose anymore... or at least not as much as with UD10."
