"So pretty sure this album is amazing. I have been buying Ultra compilations for a year and this is by far my favorite ever. It has such an eclectic grouping of songs, there's dark songs, then there's happier ones there's even some mellow songs too. It overall is amazing...I know it's so [...] to be in love with this CD, but it's a must buy for all people who appreciate Trance or any type of Techno music. Some of the best tracks are' Ressurection", "Knocking At The Door", "Shivers", and just every other song on there is enjoyable. yeah, there are like 2 or 3 songs that I definatly could do without, but 2-3 out of 24 amazing songs, that's definatly worth the $krill. Those who bought Ultra. Trance 4 and loved it will be even more in love with this album, with a whole new kind of sound than last year's Trance hits. Better buy this CD and play it whenever you feel like it."

"Very much worth your money. Tiesto's tracks were great (Adagio For Strings and The Loves We Lost). The first track (Listen To Your Heart) caught me off guard because it started off mellow, but then kicked in at the 28th second, I almost though that the CD was going to be mellow. I enjoyed that song, even though it was a little pop-ish. It had its moments of soundin like Hard-Core Techno, making you want to get up and dance, to sounding like Down-Tempo, kicking back after being tired of dancing. I most certainly enjoyed the whole thing.
Personally I find that most trance songs out there help me focus on my studies, especially if they flow. This one was very awesome and I dont regret buying it. It flows so well and you dont get bored of it. I could have certainly done without Paul van Dyk's track Pictures, it was a little distracting; and Why by DJ Sammy was also unnecessary. I agree with the other reviewers, however: out of 24 songs, only 2 - 3 werent that great, thats pretty good!"

"The Ultra Trance series, is one of the better quality series out there... It's along the lines of Future Trance(German Import) and Cyber Trance(Japanese Import), but without the cheesy songs. I am a avid trance listener (have roughly 800 different songs) and have to say that every CD in the Ultra Trance series is excellent. Ultra Trance 5 is a great CD and you know it is a great CD when the more you listen to it, the better you like it. However, it is not the best in the series, that would go to Ultra Trance 4 IMO. If you don't have this CD, get it, its worth every penny."

"This cd was worth my money, especially when it smoothed into Mynt's "still not sorry". The moment of grace was when I heard Tiesto's "Adagio for Strings" since I had been DYING to get the Parade of Athletes for this song alone. Anyway, if you like trance or even if you've barely dipped your feet into it I suggest you buy this cd cause even though you may not be like those trance addicts (ahem,me) that are willing to spend all their hard earned money on Trance cds, this Cd is definitely worth the pretty penny if you're tired of the crappy stuff that's getting way too much airplay lately."
Not 'excellent', but still great...

"So I got this CD today, and I am absolutely in love with it. Granted, there are a few songs I could do without (Listen to Your Heart, Why, All This Time). But there were so many other great songs (The Loves We Lost, Adagio for Strings, Sunset). In my opinion, the second CD is much better than the first. The first is more poppy, especially the first 3 tracks. The second disk is slightly darker. This CD is definately worth it, and is sure to please most trance addicts.
