"Who ever wrote the arrangments for this CD has never been to Hawai'i. I suspect the person looked at a map or globe while writting the arrangments. Who ever produced the CD saw how bad the arrangments were and gave the music to his children to play ... at least they had almost mastered Chop Sticks. This CD was a total waste of money.I will pay to ship you my copy."
Not quite what you'd hear in the Islands!

"I can recommend the following selections only: Hula Blues, South Seas Strings, Sands, Hawaiian Sunset, South Sea Swing, and Twilight in Hawaii. These selections are original and of pretty good quality. The traditional music is pretty bad. I recommend instead: Jack De Mello, Steel Guitar Magic, Emma Veary, Nina Keali'iwahamana (Mountain Apple Records); Makaha Sons of NI'IHAU (Poki Records/Tropical Music, Inc), Music of Hawaii- George Kulokahai & Island Serenaders (Intersound) and finally, Sons of Hawaii (Panini Records). Very traditional, quite beautiful. Aloha!"
