A shrewd marketing move and sometimes even good music, WWF Aggression collects rap takes on 13 theme songs from the televised extravaganzas that brought mega-fame to the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, Mankind, and even biz honcho Vince McMahon. "WWF Aggression reminds me a lot of the "Blade" movie soundtrack. This time around though, rap stars perform songs inspired by WWF Superstars. The best of the bunch is Run DMC's take on DX's theme music. Mankind's song was all right, although with Kool Keith and ODB on the mike, it would've been nifty mixing Mick Foley's other themes/personas (Dude Love & Cactus Jack). Theme #3 is the People's Champion (with Method Man supplying the rhymes). It might not be the most electrifying song on the CD, but it doesn't matter what I think! Snoop Dogg & W.C. throw down on Steve Austin's inspired "Hell Yeah" (get well soon Stone Cold). Mr. Vince McMahon's "No Chance" gets a nice makeover courtesy of Redman, Rock (from Heltah Skeltah) and Peanut Butter Wolf. Song #6 was the surprise of the bunch. C Murder and Magic should submit "I Won't Stop" to the "Blade 2" soundtrack! Tha Eastsidaz rhyme to the rythm of Kane's "Big Red Machine." Y2J's theme is good enough by itself, though RA The Rugged Man does a decent job on the mic. The NAO theme is another selection that's better in it's original format, but for the sake of hip-hop art, Bad Azz (not Billy Gunn) and Techniec kick in the jams. As far as the Godfather's theme, Ice T was the logical choice for Pimpin' Ain't Easy Man. HHH's theme is yet another song that's good enough left alone, then along come Mystikal & Ras Kass to change my opinion. This one's another of my unexpected favorites. Mack 10, K Mac, Boo Kapone & MC Eiht do a decent take on the Big Show's song, and wrapping up this eclectic CD, (Dame Grease Presents) Meeno brings it home with the Undertaker's "Ministry".Overall, keeping the "original" entrance music and "inspired by" selections on separate CD's was a good decision by the WWF. "Aggression" has a better repeat listen potential than WCW's "Mayhem" from a few months ago. If you like pancakes, give it a try and you'll never, eeeeeeeeeeeever regret it again!"
This is by far the best of the WWF records...

"This album should not even be compared with the other WWF records. It is a perfect mix of the best wrestlers, with an all-star team of the hippest names in Rap. Even if you had no interest in the WWF, if you are into rock or hip-hop you will love this record. Every track sounds like it could be a cut from the artists new album, not something that was whipped up to make quick money. As good as it is, i would buy it just for the Run-DMC song."

"the music was great. the "great one" is in this and you give him your money to smell what the rock is cooking. walls of jerhico is an awesome remix and stone cold theme is off the hook. big show was alittle bit of a down fall but the DX theme conter reacts it by Run Dmc tearing up the mic."

"As soon as I heard the first track, I was hooked. The DX theme song "The Kings" is definitely my favorite of the bunch. My other favorite tracks include Y2J, Stone Cold, & the Outlaws' theme. Some of the lyrics may not be appropriate for your kids; although there's nothing here that you haven't already heard on WWF television. Aside from that, the artists and the WWF have done a great job! Altogether, would I recommend this album for WWF fans? OH HELL YEAH!"

"This album still lives by me as 1 of my fav Hip Hop albums. Despite some of the poor reviews & the like i still find it very enjoyable. Hell i listened to the whole thing 2day even. Ill run thru the tracks for you & tell you of the cut tracks that were kept on the album as well. The only thing i dont like about it is that its cenored. Apart from that job well done WWE.
1. The Kings by Run DMC (RIP JMJ): Very damn catchy & anyone who has seen the video, thats cool too. 1 of the more recognizable songs on the album & it really stands out. DX Music is kept & it makes it all the better.
2. Wreck by Kool Keith & ODB (RIP 2 u 2): Some people dont like this song, personally i like it, ODB is very whack & catchy & so is Kool Keith, i liked the McD's line, anyway hook is alright.
3. Know Your Role by Method Man: Now this guy did his homework. He captured lots of the Rocks sayings & punchlines in here, very well done, hook is abit irritating after a million times a listen but very good song
4. Hell Yeah by Snoop Dogg & W.C: This song rocked with Dub-C on the verse & Snoop on the hook, definitly a favourite track, very catchy & keeps the Stone Cold theme.
5. No Chance by Redman & Rock of Heltah Skeltar feat. Peanut Butter Wolf: This song has been said as weak but personally this really is a song that gets to grow on you eventually. Redman is good & the hook is pretty decent
6. I Wont Stop by C-Murder & Magic: This song is pretty cool with a good hook, suits the Gangrel theme, i liked the random laughter & stuff, very creepy
7. Big Red Machine by Tha Eastsidaz: good references & lyrics, Kanes theme is sorta kept here, hook is evil but anyway this is Kane afterall.
8. Break Down The Walls by RA The Rugged Man: a very catchy, good hook & enjoyable song. Good job
9. You Aint Hard by Technice (or however you spell it) & Bad Azz: this song is funny & has good punchlines. hook is rememberable & catchy, i liked it.
10. Pimpin' Aint Easy by Ice-T: great song, good theme 4 Ice-T, handled very well.
11. Game by Mystikal & Ras Kass: great angry song with a very dang out there hook. suits i loved this song.
12. Big by Mack 10, K Mac, Boo Kapone & MC Eiht: using shows theme puts together a decent song, A Hoo-Banging family song, alright but could of done better.
13. Ministry by Dame Grease presents Meeno (or just Meeno): great song produced by Dame Grease & Meeno was out there with the theme, excellant song & what a way to wrap up the album.
Cut songs:
Kane by Method Man: Very damn catchy & is actually sung over Kane's theme (old school 1), download @ Wu-Tang Clan's official site
thats all i got this against my mums wishies when i was little. Its a great hip hop album & 2 videos were made in conjunction with this Know Your Role & The Kings. Also Ice-T performed his @ a Wrestlemania years ago."
