"I discovered Will Oldham by hearing this CD first. I already knew of & enjoyed Iron & Wine, Jolie Holland, and Mark Kozelek and was interested in some of the other artists on the CD.



I feel in love with songs like "New Partner" and "Southside of the World" right away. I also discovered Scoutt Niblett in the process, so this CD was definetly worth the price of admission.



Going back and hearing the original Oldham versions of these songs was an amazing discovery. Of course his versions of these songs are almost always better, but I still come back to this tribute CD and find that the covers hold up suprisingly well.



And now I'm working on someday having the entire Will Oldham discography!"
