A great compilation...but only a compilation.

"This fantastic selection of songs pulls from all across the market, pulling songs from every genre of artist under the sun. From the twangy pop country of The Corrs to the classical crossover of Sarah Brightman to the ethereal alto of Dido, this album definitely has it all. The only female superstars I missed on this album was Tori Amos and Eyna. This is a great album for any music lover, especially Dido's 'Here With Me', Madonna's 'American Pie', Sarah Brightman's 'A Whiter Shade of Pale', Faith Hill's 'Breathe', and The Corrs' 'Breathless'. Excellent music. However, a compilation album is just that - a compilation lacks that final touch of finesse that a great artists like Sarah Brightman, Enya, and Faith Hill give their albums. Sometimes, as in Brightman's albums, it's a theme. Her most recent album, 'La Luna', stood as a single unified work, rather than a random collection of nice tracks. While the songs were excellent, it was Brightman's theme (the moon) that bound them together and made them a sparkling, finished piece of work; other excellent artists use different techniques. But a compilation CD that takes songs from many different artists can't possibly have that final beautiful touch that makes a CD into an album.Overall, I would certainly recommend this album to anyone who loves music, because the music is simply the best out there."
