"I saw this c d , and thought I would take a chance on it. and was pleasantly suprised. the songs stay prety much to there original melody.
This is one I'll enjoy just as much as I enjoy listening to the orginal hymans. It will give the younger genoration a feel for old treasures in an updated style that will not take away from the versions the older folks are used to singing.

"This CD has an awesome mix of contemporary hymns. There are a few I don't care for but that is expected with any cd of various artists. I have to say my favorite song in the CD is Building 429's version of Grace Greater than My Sin. I would definitly recommend this cd to anyone."
A Delightful Collection of Hymns

"When I was younger, I did not really care for hymns. I thought that they sounded slow and boring.
As I have gotten older, that has changed somewhat. I still prefer contemporary music, but have gained a solid appreciation for hymns. Most of them have more depth than many modern songs. There are several solid collections of modern versions of hymns now and this is a great addition to those.
This contains some really great sounding hymns by a wide variety of well known Christian music artists including the following: Barlowgirl, Third Day, Newsboys, Big Daddy Weave, Jeremy Camp, and many others.
I would definitely recommend this for anyone who is looking for a great album of hymns. I also recommend Hymns: Ancient And Modern by Passion Passion: Hymns Ancient and Modern and Redemption Songs by Jars of Clay Redemption Songs. Redemption Songs is certainly the most outstanding hymns collection that I have ever heard and I highly recommend it."
