"Danny Vaughn and crew's sophomore effort "Fearless" is an example of Adult Oriented Rock at its zenith - a CD you could listen to on your player's "shuffle" mode for countless hours.
A unique sound that's coupled intelligent, interesting lyrics with catchy hooks and tight musicianship in a total package that is fresh and different, but somehow pleasantly familiar.
The second track "Haunted" is an absolutely perfect tune - it's ingredients rarely align this well. And Danny's voice, the real star of the album, has range, depth, and passion that pulls you into the music.
Unfortunately not too easy to find in the US, this release is worthy of some astute attention. Even though you've probably not heard of Vaughn (Danny's previous gig was lead vocals for Tyketto) you will not be disappointed - buy two."
A more mature Danny Vaughn

"Released in 2001, Fearless is the second solo album from former Tyketto frontman Danny Vaughn, who has one of the absolute finest voices in rock music.
Fearless showcases a more mature Danny Vaughn. His voice is as warm and powerful as ever, but the songs have a well-written, more mature rock/adult contemporary/almost country at times style than his previous work in Tyketto. These are the kinds of songs that, with Vaughn's incredible voice, should have had him playing on radio stations all over the country. Of course we all know that will never happen, so those of us who own this album can feel like a privileged few, and will do what we can to spread the word.
I like this album a lot, but while I can recognize and appreciate the more mature style, I also can't help but miss the catchier, more melodic approach that won me over with Tyketto. Fortunately Vaughn jumped back into that style in a big way with his 2004 project From the Inside.
Fearless may scare off hard rock fans, but it's the kind of album that should appeal to a much wider audience than it will ultimately receive. Serious Danny Vaughn fans will of course add this to their collections. I haven't been able to say no to one of the man's albums yet!

This is the best CD released since the 1980s, bar none.

"With the dirth of negative vibs in the music of the 90s and early 00s what a refreshing change to listen to an album that makes you feel good about life. I maybe mellowing with age but I find this to be my favorite Danny Vaughn album even though it is not nearly as rockin as his stuff with Tyketto (which I rank in my top 10 favorites of all time). This is the first time an artist has "matured" their sound and I liked it. If you are into Staind, Slipknot or Radiohead this is album is not for you. I get a very strong nostalgia for my high school years (grad. in 1986) listening to this album even though it is NOT 80s rock stylistically it has that vibe. No "It's Been awhile" type dirges here. This is music to lift the soul and it delivers across the board."
