"Okay, friends. I don't know how you may have stumbled across this album on such a vast website filled with thousands upon thousands of offerings from countless artists. But that is not the point. The point is: You've come to the right place. After you purchase this album (and you will), you might as well never buy another CD as long as you live. Why such bold statements? If you've ever had heartache, ever felt lonely, exhilarated, contemplative, peaceful; if you've ever felt the joys and sorrows of existing as a human being on this groaning planet, you will find your heart touched by the myriad facets of expression contained herein. All scopes of human consciousness, countless styles of musical expression, from bluegrass sounds, to almost straight-up rock sounds, to classical sounds, to rhythm & blues, to the cacophonic, you will find the members of Vee Device well on their way to becoming masters of musical interpretation of life. Especially considering that these guys seemed to have come out of the woodwork. Does anybody know anything about 'em? I want to know more. But I digress. "How is it that an album of such awe-inspiring magnitude arises from "Out Of The Darkness?" It is hard to say exactly what forces have to converge. Whatever the case, thank your lucky stars they did. vee device is utterly magnificent. Seldom is it that an album showcases both musical and lyrical genius. But such is the case with this gem. I first heard a cut from these guys on a local NPR station. Their sound just blew me away -- then when I got the album a few weeks back, I was even more astounded. They refused to be pigeonholed -- their sound is diverse and all-encompassing.These are the heirs to American music. I don't think it'll be long until they're household names. vee device gets my highest recommendation. Do yourself a favor and buy this album today!"
