"The previous reviewer is not very excited by this music. That's a real shame, because as "unexciting" as this music is, I've been quite impressed with Obmana's work for some time. Comparing him to Steve Roach and/or Robert Rich is like comparing apples and elephants (as is comparing Roach and Rich with each other). Each of these three composers has an amazing individual approach (dare I say "gift?") to making music. Obmana's gift is taking an amazingly little amount of material and turning it into something that, while simple, can evoke a complete and profound atmosphere. His music is almost always "cool" (rarely could it be described as "warm"), which may be with what the previous reviewer is having difficulty, whereas Roach's music is more "in your face" (compared to most of Obmana's work, _The Magnificent Void_ is "in your face") and Rich's music acts, sometimes with the utmost subtlety, on an intellectual level. With Obmana, atmosphere reigns supreme, and that atmosphere - while cool and distant - says a lot to my view of life and existence . . . even God. Either this music will speak to you, or it won't - take time beforehand to sample these delights before you buy them; you'll either be hooked for life or bored to tears!"
