"Prokofiev: Violin Concerto Nos. 1 & 2~ Sergey Prokofiev is a tremendous recording with the tallented violinist Itzhak Pearlman. Prokofievs music is wonderfull to listen and one is left a feeling of sublimity and inner peace. Prokofievs music sounds like early Hollywood music and that is not a bad thing at all since the early Hollywood productions often had wonderfull musical scores. Pearlman is one of the best violinists in the late 20 th century and is still considered as of today to be one of the best violinists in the business. He is such an accomplished violinists that words are hard to describe such immense tallent but if I had to say something, then it would be that he is amazing, stupedonous and astounding. The book-let is very nice with great photo pearlman on the cover. The liner notes hit the mark right away and the short essay written by Rita McAllister is very informative. I highly recommend this album and give 5 well deserved stars."
