Good recording

"This is a particularly pleasing recording of some lovely and well-matched repertoire. All 4 pieces have a strain of modernity, and the Ravel and Poulenc sonatas plus Tzigane borrow happily from "non-classical" forms - jazz, blues, roma, klezmer?
Tasmin Little plays beautifully and is accompanied in a most sympathetic way by Piers Lane. What happened to this release? I bought it years ago in London without a cover for a quid (shameful treatment), and now it has this nasty sleeve? No faith from EMI in perfectly respectable area of the repertoire?"
