CD ReviewsWarzone destructionist | West Palm Beach | 04/21/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "i have been a fan of Vital Remains-- since let us pray--was released--- nothing could beat its brutality-- well maybe-- this-- i hesitated buying this release--maybe it was because of only having 6 songs-- but the cd itself is over 40 minutes long-- including the best song ever made-- i am god---over 9 minutes long-- no disappointments here-- its hard to compare them with any other death metalband--just cause no other band has what Vital Remains has--true creativity-- not for everyone though-- just the Underground-- all hail Vital Remains" Evil, Dark, and pounding sadistik | Monrovia, CA United States | 04/30/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "These guys are somewhat legendary in the Underground, and its easy to see why. This album rules (though it has been surpassed by their newest opus "Dawn of the Apocalypse"). This album has great tempo shifts, rythyms, and drumming, not to mention Dave Sazuki's (Drums) acoustic and classical guitar elements., Totally cool. Also, Forever Underground (the song) is pretty much my metal anthem! As the song says "We sound the horns/No turning back/Forever true/Forever black". Hail Vital Remains!" Satanic Metal MetalHead | bowels of hell | 07/22/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "This is a very good example of an underground death metal band. Killer lyrics. Killer Music. The cover also rocks. The Star of Baphomet. My fav song would have to be Forever Underground. Buy this and hear good, and true death metal."
