Crowd Pleaser

"Ridiculously good music. I can't remember the last time I listened to an album and fell in love with it on the first listening. Track after track, Flashmob has excellent production, akind to Daft Punk circa Discovery, or Justice circa 2007. There's something about French House and that nostalgic disco sound that just works. There's a good balance and diversity on this album, seriously well crafted from beginning to end, with a broad musical landscape and the necessary cohesiveness :

Poison Lips : Catchy, creative and infectious, in other words, perfect. The dance anthem for 2010, perfect bland of 80s synths and epic trance sound. Video is not bad either: 10/10

Flashmob : Simple but effective epic track with a delirium-like progression. The thumping bass alone makes it hard not to dance: 9/10

One Above One : Well crafted, not necessarily a crowd pleaser but an intricate gem. A very well composed track: 9/10

Still : Stylish, low-tempo and dreamy track older vitalic fans will love. Minimal yet crafty with an epic release, no need for pills for this one: 9/10

Terminateur Benelux: Similar to Flashmob, loud, thumping bass and energetic: 8/10

Second Lives: A nostalgia-laced epic track: 9/10

Allan Delon: In the similar nostalgic vein as the previous track, but low-tempo with a Jean Michel Jarre feel to it. It's a good look, one of my fav track: 9/10

Station Mir 2099: Futuristic as the title suggests. One my favorite track on this album. Intricate and slow to build, something akind to Jean Paul Garnier earlier work but more accessible: 9/10

Chicken Lady, Sea the Sea ( Red and Blue ) : Not bad but not on par with the others: 7/10"

"I won't go into too much detail...but this is an amazing album. The tracks are eclectic enough to make listening to this album straight through extremely enjoyable, and yet every song coheres with the last enough to make the whole work a brilliant composition. It's hard to adequately describe this cd. It hasn't strayed too much from what Ok Cowboy laid out some time ago, but has brought a lot of new elements to the table. I've actually enjoyed Flashmob quite a bit more than Ok Cowboy. But this cd did take a little time to grow on me, though now I seem to find myself listening to it almost everyday. It definitely isn't for everyone...but if you find yourself often delving into electro music, give Flashmob a chance."
