Scott Waldon | benicia, ca United States | 09/03/2005 (4 out of 5 stars) "You cannot review this cd without mentioning that the lead singer sounds eerily like Stephen Merritt (Magnetic Fields, the Sixths, etc.). However, these tunes are very pleasing to these ears. The lyrics are not as self-depreciating as Merritt, and most of the songs are not about love, and love lost. However, that detached forlorn voice is there. I like Magnetic Fields, and I like this. FYI; this is much better than Chelsea 27099 (the previos release) which is very average. If you like Magnetic Fields; you will like this."
