"I first listened to the I Solisti Veneti ensemble playing Vivaldi, conducted by Claudio Scimone, about 15 years ago, and this particular recording has during that time remained one of my favorites of all music.The violin concerto discordato with the lovely passacaglia is beyond description. The second movement played duo coro with violin and cello is unforgettable.No Vivaldi collection is complete without this recording."
