"I own, and I have about 30 Vivaldi albums. It's a much deeper and introspective side of the "Red Priest," but with all of the gorgeous lyrical phrasing that is characteristic of his work. The performance is brilliant, as anyone can expect from Coin ( cello) and Il Giardino Armonico. It would certainly be on my "Island" list."

A Baroque Delight from the Master Antonio Lucio Vivaldi !

"This CD received the Gramophone 96 award in the category of Instrumental Baroque. And that is the minimum that it deserves ! It's for sure one of the best Vivaldi's CD in the market today, not only for the exeptional execution of the works, but also for the wonderful recording ( the sound quality is astounding )and mostly for the works that it contains: some of the most profound and beautifuly built concertos from the master of this genre. Needles to say that Il Giardino Armonico is one of the best ensembles that have ever recorded Vivaldi's works. This is one CD to worship ! 1 mol of stars !"

"Get comfortable then close your eyes. Imagine that you go back in time to 18th century Venice. By some incredible good luck, you have an invitation to attend a private performance at the Pieta. Two very promising students play cello. YES!, you shout when you hear that the great master himself is playing tonight. They look at you funny but let you in anyway. You think you died and went to heavan. Buy this CD. It's what happens when the best meets the best."
