It's a superb album by a band of brilliant, unfairly ignored players. I'm not sure what vexes the reviewer below so; Dickerson's melodic imagination is fleet and rich on this release, and the virtually forgotten Austin Crowe is excellent. A warm, swinging release, much more accessible than Dickerson's later really "out" stuff, but still full of lively ideas."
