It seemed like it took him forever to get Chariots recorded, but it was definitely worth the wait. On a good audio system, the dynamics are simply unbelievable. Years ago I was in the speciality high fi business, and if I still were, this would be my choice for a demo selection. It is easy to get lost in this music, especially with the power that Mr. Wagner displays. I have always enjoyed the movie, and I think how much more I would have enjoyed it if I could have heard his rendition instead of the original sound track, which, while excellent in its own right, pales by comparison. I will never get tired of listening to this."
