Absolutely wonderful performances of these pieces.

"I have been listening and playing Chopin waltzes for years. Many pianists play them too fast, flashy and finicky. But, their beauty lies in their simplicity and directness of playing with a touch of melancholy. For me, this is the ideal interpretation of these pieces. Along with Peter Katin's original version of the waltzes on Polygram records, these two are my absolute favorites versions. These pieces are nostalgic for me as they were my first introduction to classical piano music. For this reason, I will always love and treasure them."
