CD ReviewsNever a finer moment for Blackie Michael Gulley | 03/28/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "OK. So you think you're a W.A.S.P. fan? This Cd is your final exam. The full range of Blackie Lawless is open and on display. He highlights his inimitable voice on "I Can't"; he gives straight ahead rock its day with "Rock and Roll To Death"; he provides yet more killer covers with "Somebody To Love", "Tie Your Mother Down", and "Whole Lotta Rosie". The only problem is he messed up the lyrics on "Rosie" - apparantly he never figured out that the end of the first line is her measurements, not just a series of numbers. 14-39-56? Please! Try 42-39-56 - you could say she's got it all! Otherwise, this CD is flawless (Hmm...rhymes with Lwaless). Gotta have it." One of the best albums ever! jackofsometrades | 04/03/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "I can't say all their work is good, but this one is right up there with the best of them. Blaikie throws in some softer songs, which show he can be human on occasion. If you like real heavy... KFD will be your thing. If you want good music, get this album!" I'M GOING OUT ON A LIMB HERE.... Jason Nash | Pittsburgh,PA | 05/03/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "I'm gonna shake up complacency a bit and say I like this record bettter than Crimson. Every song, minus maybe 2, could be a greatest hits package on it's own. I can't, breathe, skinwalker (if you find that version), scared to death.... All just brilliant. The reason I call this my favorite WASP record is because the vocals have NEVER been stronger. He sings with more conviction on this record than any other. One of the best singers + some of the best songwriting = a serious piece of rock history that is not to be missed by anyone. Excellent."
