"This record "Apartment Sessions" is basically the songs of Rosie Thomas' album "These Friends of Mine," the album recorded in an apartment with Sufjan Stevens and Dennison Witmer. This record is unique because it contains alternate takes. They are much more raw, but still very beautiful. The quality of the recording makes you feel like your sitting in the apartment with them.

Rosie Thomas has a beautiful voice and is greatly musically talented, and paired with Sufjan and Dennison, you have a wonderful combination.

And along with this vinyl LP comes the DVD "All the Way from Michigan, Not Mars," which is a great intimate look at Rosie Thomas and her life, personality, and music."
