"Outstanding duets from two of the finest contemporary players.
Jemeel Moondoc is peerless. His alto playing is extremely distinct, full of warmth and very quirky. It is a loveable sound and full of humanity.
The late Mr. Dennis Charles was a master drummer, capable of creating a myriad of sound on his kit.
The two of them carry on a dialogue that is as captivating as anything I have heard in some time. I played it through twice after I opened it...and again the next morning.
edit:(one year later) I made the mistake of lending this one out to someone who heard it at my place. They must really like it because I've asked for it back a number of times now and still don't have it. I even heard it playing in the background when I called to arrange stopping by to pick it up. I think I'll just let them keep it and get myself another one.
Truly a phenomenal release....recorded back in the 80's
Another gem from eremite."

"This is a fantasitc recording! Jemeel Moondoc and Denis Charles work wonderfully together. I am especially a fan of Mr. Charles' drumming, and his work here furthers my admiration. This is some of the most listenable freebop to be found. My 2 year-old daughter loves to dance to it!"
