CD ReviewsThis is great stuff Erik | Brandon, VT | 09/10/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "This CD, aside from a song or two, is amazing! Tracks 1 and 2 are similar in that they both have high pitched INSANE melodies. Killer drums beats in La Gallera too. Track 3 is a great mainstream trance song. Its got a dark feel to it but it still has that upbeat, dance your a$$ off rhythm. Track 4 "Trance Airport" is my personal favorite. Its got sounds that really get inside you and make you move, i cant really explain it. Track 5 is another awesome mainstream trance song. If you listen to Trance non-stop this one may not sound spectacular but its still good. Track 6 is simple short and nice. Track 7 "Dying" the best i can say is Interesting.. I really dont like the next track "colours" its kinda boring and a little kid repeating the colors just gets annoying after a while! "Africa" is a nice track and its also another one of my favorites. Melody is prob the best one on the CD. I havnt listened to track 10 much cause i always skip it to listen to Track 11 "journey into trance" which is an incredible song. Words are blended into the melody of the song and it progresses beautifully! The tracks arnt mixed the best but its not enough to really bother you. The songs themselves really make up for it. So if youre a picky trance listener who likes to complain about that kinda thing you probably wont like it. but if you are just looking for a CD that will move you this is the one to get!" Worth getting if you love trance/acid style techno neomurtle | Acworth, GA United States | 12/28/2001 (4 out of 5 stars) "I'm always skeptical when it comes to finding decent trance techno albums...they are always either an import or they are impossible to find in stores. I am glad to report however, that Webster Hall's Tranzworld 4 is not only good, but is also fairly easy to find. The word "techno" is a term thrown around very loosely, but Tranzworld 4 delivers...for the most part. The music is purely electronic and fast like any true trance compilation should be. The production is a little weak in spots though (due to porting some of the songs from vinyl, probably), and there are a few annoying voice samples (track 7's "I'm Dying" sample will make you cringe if you have the volume turned up too loud). Aside from that, this is a pretty solid compilation. If you like your techno fast and non-stop, Webster Hall's Tranzworld 4 has enough variety to make it worth getting." A fantastic mixing J. Henderson | NJ, USA | 05/18/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "I originally purchased this after hearing Trance Airport 2000 (track 4) while in my car. The mixing is done very well, the variety is great too from the dark bass beats of La Galera to the soft synthisized tones in Memories Like Radium. This trance CD is definately a great compilation and I highly recommend it to anyone that enjoys trance."
