It's honest, acoustic, dirt under your fingernails music.real and folky, I suppose, because of the banjo and mandolin, but a fresh blend of tunes that will hopefully speak to you.
I met Tom at a coffeehouse in 1980, and fell in love immediately. He was singing puff the magic dragon and several little kids were sitting around his feet, his mom was in the audience cheering him on, and I thought, wow, THAT is my idea the perfect guy! What a life we could have filled with music, and maybe even family! Its been a wonderful ride ever since. Weve shared music, written together, raised our daughter, traveled, sang and built our world around a love for music.
Weve met some of the finest people through our music....and its also pulled us through some of the toughest times. I feel we have succeeded when people relate to our songs, stories, or just enjoy what we have to share!
Whining of the Wheels is our first recorded project together. The songs are timeless (to us anyways) and come from the heart. give it a listen!
