Whirwind Heat plays that spazzy bass/moog/drums disco-punk the kids love so much. Their first cd was produced by Jack White. This one is actually better.

"This album's sound is a little more accessible than their past cd's. It sounds very influenced by Beck and Pavement, but it still has the quirkyness that the heat are known for.



"The Sun is Round" is excellent as they randomly list the abc's. There are awesome riffs on this disc, and the production is very good. "Reagan" is a really pretty song in which Benson sings it as opposed to the normal ranting.



Of course, this album should only be for people that will not get too offended by someone singing the abc's; "Now i know my abc's next time won't you sing with me"



This is a fun cd. But definately not for everyone."
