One of Moby's rare releases!

"This is actually a Moby release despite it being labeled as "Lopez". Lopez is just one of many of Moby's aliases. The three songs on the CD are representitive of Moby's earlier releases; they are quite different from the material on PLAY, ANIMAL RIGHTS or EVERYTHING IS WRONG. "Why Can't It Stop?" has several varying loops of vocals, beats, sythesizers & piano. "The Dirty Underground" is probably the best track on this CD. At first it seems like just a monotonous beat that repeats itself. As the song progresses different beats & sound effects are introduced until the climatic end when an almost apocalyptic-like overpowering synthesizer comes in. It has a really moving effect. The third and last track "Everybody Can Do It" is quite different from the other two & defies classification. It is a series a varying loops of what sounds like muffled record scratching with a very subtle vocal sample in the background. This is a great CD to have if you can manage to find one. The 3 songs are all quite different from each other. I would recommend this to anyone who is familiar with & enjoys Moby's earlier stuff...for this is kind of "off the beaten path" & experimental."
