"I'm not a real fan of the Wilburn Brothers, I happen to like the song "Trouble's Back In Town", a song I remember from my childhood. Apparently, it's their biggest hit, with a cute "uh-oh" hook from the Anita Kerr Singers.
But, it's a decent greatest hits package, from early mono tracks to stereo production extravaganzas. Pure honky-tonk fun. The boys were pros and it shows on this album.
Feb 2008: N.B. Oh, and be sure to check out their last hit, "Arkansas" which has a great line: "Is the girl I loved still burnin' her bridges?"..love it!"

"NOT ENOUGH OF THEIR SONGS AND NONE OF THEIR ORIGINAL DECCA ALBUMS ARE ON CD. THE BEST OF COUNTRY IS OVERLOOKED.

"This is a must have for any Wilburn Brothers or true country music fan. It's got some of their very best songs. If you like this one, check out their others: "Stars of the Grand Ole Opry", "Retrospective", "Greatest Hits" and "The Wonderful Wilburn Brothers". You can't go wrong with any of them!"
