"This is a wonderful take on the emerging singer/songwriter genre. William Hut has an amazing voice, which is underscored brilliantly by his thoughtful and complex arrangements. Think Badly Drawn Boy...Drawn Better. He definitely outshines his fellow countrymen Erland Oye, and Sondre Lerche as both a singer and a songwriter, and deserves much more exposure in the U.S. where there seems to be a burgeoning A/R market for thoughtful catchy songwriting. As a collection, the songs themselves vary greatly in style but there is a thematic element which binds them all, which is a welcome characteristic too often overlooked by modern (non-beck) recording artists. It's a great accompaniament to "Joe Maynards Favorites" the Poor Rich One's latest collection, which has a heavier, more "pop-rock" sound."
