"Willie Clayton is one of the many keeping the classic soul sound alive. Every song here is good. The R&B-ish "Boom Boom Boom" to the pure Southern soul "My Miss America", everything is great as Willie & Co. have come up with a classic. He also pays tribute to two of his favorite singers, Johnnie Taylor ("Running Out of Lies") and Tyrone Davis ("Can I Change My Mind"), both of whom have unfortunately left us but thankfully we have singers like Willie Clayton keeping their sounds alive."
