"Junto con El Juicio y Lo Mato Si No Compra Este LP, Cosa Nuestra completa las tres producciones mejor logradas por la combionacion de Willie Colon, un maestro en todo el sentido de la palabra, y Hector Lavoe, el Cantante de los Cantantes. Esta produccion contiene temas como Che Che Cole, No Me Llores, Te Conozco Vacalao y Ausencia; que se han convertido en iconos de como se debe hacer la musica salsa."

"If you've read any of my reviews, you know I love salsa, and think that the combination of Willie Colon and Hector Lavoe is the best pairing since Arroz got together with Gandules. That said, I love this album ALMOST as much as el Juicio and equally as much as Lo Mato.
On this album we have Che Che cole, a breezy tune with a sense of fun and adventure. no me Llores mas follows, this one slightly faster and more a bomba and plena than a salsa tune. Track 3 is a slow paced love song, but the album hits a peak with track 4, Te Conozco.
Te Conozco describes a chance meeting with a vagabond who is always broke. The denial of money builds to a crescendo that is a thunderous combination of Hector's voice improvisations over the chorus, a blaring trombone and a fast paced salsa beat.
As if wanting to keep the listeners ears pumping and feet moving, Juana Peña follows this track with even stronger vocals, even louder and more blaring horns and an improvised soneo that will singe your ears with its precisness, its pain and its soulfilled delivery.
The album slows way down near the end, as if to give the listener a break from all the fire that is tracks 4 and 5.
Tu no Puedes con migo, the last track is of particular note however. Rumours are still abound that this song was written about singer Ruben Blades, a frequent Willie Colon colaborator did not part company with Willie on good terms.
If you are looking for a good album to dance to, or love to hear powerful horns, great soneo or can not get enough of Hector Lavoe's voice, then this album has something for you."
