Brilliant pop-salsa record - YOU MUST OWN IT!!!

"Colon was light years ahead musically when this record was released. A gem of lyric beauty, well produced and perfectly executed. Colon borrows the brazilian singer-songwriter tradition and puts a caribbean spin to Chico Buarque and he pulls it off using pan-american rhythms.

Now, this record cannot be compared to alot of the stuff that was coming out around 1981. Doing so may dissapoint you if you are looking for hardcore salsa (like Colon's early work). However, this record is in a different league and infinitely more sophisticated.

This reissue features rare photos and original cover art. It also includes a complete personel listing and a well written essay.
